This image is a classic sporting scene, depicting the hunters in the foreground shooting Atlantic Brant on a spit of land with Wellfleet Harbor in the background. This was inspired by several trips that my grand father and I had made to this area to hunt Brant.
The Wellfleet Harbor Brant edition is larger than the Royal Wulff edition totaling 70 artist proofs in all. Both of these prints are true limited editions,the plates have been broken and can no longer be printed.
